Instrumentation Engineer

• Oversee the installation of field instruments such as transmitters, sensors, control valves, switches, and analyzers.
• Verify installation as per project drawings, data sheets, and international standards (ISA, IEC).
• Ensure proper mechanical mounting, cabling, and tagging of instruments.
• Perform bench and field calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, level, flow, analyzers, etc.).
• Conduct loop checking and functional testing to ensure correct signal transmission to DCS/PLC systems.
• Prepare calibration reports and maintain traceability records.
• Supervise installation of cable trays, conduits, and cable routing for instrumentation and control systems.
• Oversee pulling, glanding, and termination of instrument and control cables.
• Lead instrument pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including logic verification, cause & effect testing, and control loop tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve I&C issues during commissioning and startup.
• Support operations team during plant handover and performance testing.
• Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices at site.
